Mission Statement

I have learned, lived and worked in all four corners of the nation, in the state of California south, north, and in the valley, and having conducted business in Asia and Europe and having been responsible for peoples lives in complex situations, I have been fortunate enough to gain an unparallel national and world wide perspective that will serve you well as a representative in the California legislature.
I don't believe in "phases" for a campaign. People make a campaign, not "phases". And while people might work and live in one place for most of their lives then go into government service, I believe that quality counts. I believe that one can more effectively represent a citizenry in a world class state like California by bringing the value of world wide experiences to the process.
From that experience come two quick observations. Our public rail and transportation system development is far behind Europe, Asia and many third world countries. I have lived for more than half a century in and out of our state and I can't remember a time when California roads were in a state of such disrepair. More embarrassingly, our health care system rests in much the same condition. If California leads in renewable energy expansion (and we do) and if it will lead the nation in energy efficiency and reversing global warming (and we will), then why not lead the nation in health care coverage for all. This is very achievable and with your help we can do it.
It is my commitment to you, the residents of the 15th Assembly district and all of the State of California to fight for what is right, to promote honest, ethical government and to work tirelessly for our families continuing to bring out our full potential. It will be an honor to serve you in the state legislature.
